Background
Lucy was educated at South Hampstead High School and St. Helen’s and St. Katherine’s in Oxfordshire. She started teaching in London in 1988 in a coeducational school, moving to Eaton House, Belgravia in 1990. There, she was a form mistress, Head of Science, and Deputy Headmistress before becoming Headmistress in 1998, aged 28. She left in 2015 after twenty-five years, returning to the Eaton House Group in 2019 for a term as acting Headmistress at The Manor Pre-Prep. Lucy is also a Governor at Brambletye School, a coeducational boarding and day school for children aged 2½ -13.

Services
Lucy helps children who attend or wish to attend UK schools, advises on entrance exams, and undertakes 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+ and pre-test interviews.

She has extensive knowledge of a wide range of schools with particular expertise in the London day school system, from nursery to senior schools. Lucy works with former SENCOs and Educational Psychologists in the assessment of children.

She frequently sources and guides high quality tutors. She regularly presents talks to parents on a wide range of subjects including ‘school readiness’, the London day school system and exams, and pupil interview techniques and tips for parents. She advises on staff and Headship recruitment as well as offering senior management support.
