Beth Yu

As an educational guardian, Beth will support your child every step of the way.  She will be an extension of your family because she will care for your child in the same way that she would her own child.  She will act quickly on your behalf in an emergency, help your child build confidence, overcome challenges and will always put the best interests of your child first.  She will provide a vital link to enable you to continue parenting from afar and support your child to ensure they achieve their full academic and personal potential.

Beth has a bachelor’s degree in Business English.  She worked in multinational companies for many years as a curriculum developer and taught EAL to Chinese students.

Beth attended boarding schools in China since she was 13 and lived away from home whilst at university.  She moved to the UK shortly after her marriage in 2017 and now lives in Devon with her husband and their daughter.  Beth has a deep understanding of what it’s like to be a young person in a boarding school environment and to be away from home in a foreign country.
